In 2022, I co-directed and led the creative direction for Nashi's music video Suck on my Spring Roll — a bold, visually charged response to anti-Asian racism.
Developed together with Trang Vo and Nguyen Phuong Thuy, the project translates experiences of othering, fetishization, and self-empowerment into a provocative and unapologetic visual language.
From the very start, the production was built with intention — an all-female-read team, a space that centered collaboration and empowerment at every step. What emerged was a music video that balances provocation, humor, and a fearless social voice — and was honored by the Berlin Music Commission as the Most Creative Music Video of 2022.
